The Lakewood United Methodist Women have decided to change our name to the
“Lakewood Ladies of Love” (LOL). As sisters in Christ, we share lots of love and lots of laughter.

All women of the church, no matter what your age, are invited to join us. We typically hold meetings

the second Saturday of each month at 9:30 am in the church library.

If you have any questions or concerns about this remarkable organization, please call
one of the co-presidents: Debbie Bisbee (814-897-6785) or Pam Anthony (814-450-4819).

of Events

If you'd like to drop things off at the back parking lot entrance, nearest the stage, there will be people there to help you on

Saturday, August 10th, 9am to noon.

Due to a conflict of dates, this is the only day that help will be available.

August 22nd (5-8pm), August 23rd (5-8pm), and August 24th (9am - 1pm).

Please remember that we need lots of help for the set up and sale!

Many "sit down" jobs are available!

We feed our helpers, and you get first choice on donated items!

United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth,

developing leaders and advocating for justice.

Lakewood United Methodist Church Erie PA is a loving congregation  focused  on helping  people discover, experience and know the love and presence of Jesus Christ.

"Prayer Shawlers" will be meeting at Bev Shrum's house. We will be making hats and scarfs to hand out as will as the prayers shawls. The prayer shawls in the prayer room are to give to anyone who needs one. When you give one out please put their name in the book beside the shawls. If you would like to help with the ministry by making shawls, donating money or yarn, please talk to Bev. If you want to make shawls at home, we have yarn, needles, hooks and patterns.
